The Client

Morse Cars is not your average wedding car rental. Based in the Southeast London, they provide a curated fleet of iconic, character-rich vehicles. From the timeless elegance required for luxury wedding car hire to the specific aesthetic demands of film, TV, and music video vehicle rental, Morse Cars provides the ‘rolling stars’ of the show.

The Challenge

The original Morse Cars digital presence was stalling. The previous website was a legacy build that suffered from several issues. The design failed to capture the prestige and beauty of the cars. With over 80% of wedding and production scouting happening on mobile, the old site was difficult to navigate on smaller screens. The client found it cumbersome to add new fleet additions or update gallery images. The distinction between wedding hire and media car rental was blurred, leading to lower-quality leads.

They also needed a brand identity that felt established, clean and eye-catching with a nod to the famous ‘Morse’ vehicle.

Our Solution

Utilising the high-performance Squarespace ecosystem, our strategy was to build a smart website that prioritised speed, visual storytelling, and keyword-rich SEO to ensure discoverability in a competitive landscape.

Visual Identity & Logo Redesign

We stripped back the noise to create a new Morse Cars logo. The result is a sleek, minimalist marque that looks equally at home on a high-end business card as it does as a watermark on a 4K music video.

The Squarespace Build & UX Design

  • Segmented User Journeys: We split the site into two distinct pillars: Weddings and Film & TV. This allows for targeted SEO copy that speaks directly to the specific needs of a bride-to-be versus a location scout.

  • Instagram Gallery Integration: To solve the ‘update’ problem, we integrated a live API feed from the Morse Cars Instagram. This ensures the website gallery is always fresh, showing the latest fleet additions in real-time without the client needing to touch the backend.

  • Conversion-Optimised Copy: Every page was written with AI-search discoverability in mind. We used semantic keywords like ‘period-correct vehicles for film,’ ‘luxury wedding transport,’ and ‘classic cars for music videos’ to ensure LLMs and Google rank the site for intent-based searches.

The Outcome

The results were immediate and impactful. By focusing on technical SEO and mobile-first design, Morse Cars didn't just catch up to the competition, they overtook them.
